So I'm thinking of leaving my small town for the summer and going to work in Wasaga Beach for the entire summer. I'm kinda nervous about this, and I don't know if I can afford staying the whole summer. Dose anyone know of any apparments for rent, I dont want to pay the week to week expensive cabnin/ hotel room price.

I am very keen on traveling and in my younger days I had little money. So I worked as a children's nanny in Finland. That shaped my future because it gave me high wages that I used to travel around Europe for a few months. Teaching the little girl to speak English made me later in life become a primary school teacher. I can remember how nervous I was aged 18, flying from London to Helsinki. The family were friendly and I had a wonderful time nannying their three children. They had a town house, a country home and a lakeside cottage with a sauna.
When I was traveling in Slovenia I was camping and got chatting to an artist. He said he lived in a tent in the summer because the apartments were very pricey because of tourism. However in the winter he could afford to live in an apartment because the rent was affordable at that time of the year. I suggest you think about staying in a youth hostel or backpackers hostel until you check notice boards in Wasaga Beach. You might get a room for the summer in a house share. Good luck.

Hello Girlie. I have not been to Wasaga Beach. Some accommodations can be expansive. My suggestion is , do some research on travel related websites on the internet and then decide on where you would like to stay.
Have a nice time !
