I used to do that a lot as a small child, which I realize now does not sound too healthy at all! I thought it was normal at the time. I think i have done it recently, it's just that I have a hard time talking to people, and I get lonely. I just have those days when everything feels like it's crashing around me, and other days everything is fine.

About ten years ago, I was hurt so bad by this jer*k. He used me and then just dropped out of my life. I was so hurt, I cried myself to sleep many nights, not just one. I suppose he is still doing the same thing to other women. He actually moved to another state without letting me know, and I couldn't get in touch with him. He could have been a man about it and done it the right way.

Yep. It happened to me 2 years ago. I fell in love with this guy who I went out with for almost a year and then we broke up and I was devastated. I'm not exaggerating but I really can't do anything but cry. At night, i just lied down on bed, crying and replaying all the good memories we'd shared in my mind which made me cry more until i fall asleep. IN the morning, when I woke up I would try and remember what I was doing and then I'd cry again. Got over it after 3 months.

Let's see. I am old. So I have cried myself to sleep many times over the years. Lots of different reasons also. I usually feel better in the morning though.
