Yahoo also has a mapping system that you may try. The problem with streets that don't exist are mostly a local problem, that somehow doesn't get to the power to be at the mapping places. For instant in Atlanta, in recent years with growth and construction there have been a lot of streets renamed, some added and some re-routing. Some divided etc. I don't some of these changes get added. I think they basically all use the same info so chances are you may still get lost, including the portable and installed navigation systems.

actually that is why i stopped using it (yahoomaps).. i was on my way to florida and they had changed all the exit numbers and if it wasnt for the fact i have a great sense of direction then we would have never found it.. you would think they would update more though.. the roads im having a problem with right now have always forked the same way so i dont see how its something they couldnt have fixed by now

I won't use them any more. Eight years ago I used them to give me a route from Zion Utah to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon...they routed me on a dirt road in the the middle of an Indian Reservation. I stopped for directions at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. The Indian on the porch just smiled and said "Mapquest, huh?"

Personally I really like MapQuest. I have used them many times and it always works for me.
Back in October when my hubby had to be in the hospital, I had to drive to this hospital by myself and I never was there before.
The directions on MapQuest were easy to understand and I got to the hospital with no problems.
One thing with MapQuest is that I cannot use my house address as the Starting Point because it gives some weird directions to follow and I am not sure how to follow them so instead, I use the address of the Mobil Gas Station that is like 10 minutes away because that is on a main highway.
And ever since I started doing that, i am able to drive, without problems, to whereever I need to go.
