Yes,I am lucky to have one very best friend, believe it or not it is my ex-husband. We were married for 10 years and then divorced. We figured out we were really better at being friends than husband and wives. We have had other relationships and whined to each other when they didn't work out. We have been friends now for twice as long as we were married. He is a friend I can count on for anything.
I also made friends from different jobs I had. I have two from my last job and we keep in touch, even though one of them moved to Oregon, we write and call each other and I hope to go visit her in Oregon one day. I also made friends at the jobs I had before and we keep in touch through email. My oldest friend that I grew up with keeps in touch by email as well. There are all different levels of friends, some you can count on for anything and some not so much, but you still consider them friends. I also consider my mom a friend, one I can count on for anything. Also, my dad even though he lives back east. Friends are hard to come by and consider yourself extremely lucky for those you have.

Friends are whom we can depend on and they never cheat us. Others to whom we chat and talk may not be real friends. They are our company. It always good to have two or three friends. These friends are asset to our life. There is a saying that a friend in need is friend indeed. We have to demark between friends and company. Many of us do not know the real meaning of friend. For a wife husband should be a real friend and vice vesa. A child after an age of 18 is a friend to their parents and they should be treated as itimate friends. Parents have to discuss with them the problems in life and their solutions.
such families will stay together and are asset to the nation.

I don't have many friends, but the friends I have are very close friends: in good and bad times I can rely in them! They're worth their weight in gold.

I have a few really close friends. They are the ones that I can count on. Others are just acquaintances.
