Speaking as a male that has done the exact same thing you've described, I'd say the odds are in your favor that he likes you He may be bashful, or simply afraid that you won't like him, or some other silly reason. Talk to him! Ask him about your classwork or something similar. Then you will know for sure. I wish those girls had talked to me, I was incredibly bashful when I was in school

As a guy, I think he is interested in you and like you. But I doubt he is in deep love because both of you haven't started any relationship. He must be a shy guy and dare not start the conversation. He is afraid of getting negative response from you and shatter his dream. So, it all depends on you. If you like him, then you can make the first move.

If you've never had a conversation, then don't count on it... Talk to him and see what happens... if he enthusiastically responds, that's a good sign.

well all i can say is he is showing his interest in you and since he must be same age of yours, so still inexperienced with the girls and might be shy too and the biggest fear the guy have at that age is , what if she says no or tells me go take a hike. because if a girls says that then even the chance of having a friendship with her is gone too so just give that guy some confidence if you like him too and may be start a friendship, i am sure he more than likes you.
