How do you decide who to give a best response to, i know obviously if they resolve your issue and stuff, but how do you decide when there are a few people who have all given equally good advice or responses so what do you do to make your decision!!!

With great difficulty Jessica. It is very hard indeed as some responses make you laugh, others are very indepth and informative but others you feel even though perhaps only one sentence answers the discussion aptly. I usually alternative somewhere between the three but always feel pleased I have marked but a bit guilty too as there were others that had answered who were just as deserving of it but it is better to mark than not mark at all. Huggles. Ellie :D

yeh i feel guilt and i don't know why because it's nice to get a best response but i don't think about it if i don't i post because thats how i feel not to gain a best response. So if i'm not bothered other people won't be bothered so why do i feel guilty?

Hi jessica..I normally give the best response to the person who has given the best reply to my topic and my topics are few and far between LOL..whatever though everyone who responds to my topics I do rate positively as they have taken time out to answer me...littleowl

I don't post very many topics so I haven't had too many of those decisions to make. On a few occasions, I found it very difficult to choose a best response. I even wished that I could close my eyes and stick a pin in my monitor to choose one. In the end I read the ones again from which I had to pick the best, and I chose the person whom I thought had put the most effort into their response.

I've only ever started about half a dozen discussions, and none of them had much response - but I left them for a couple of months before choosing a best response. I think it's nice if a comment makes you smile, or has a unique idea - and sometimes you can tell someone has put a lot of thought into their response. It is a difficult thing to do - so I guess I was lucky only a handful of people responded to me, as it would have been pretty difficult to have gone through 100 responses to choose!

Hi jessicaboardman,
That is very hard for me too, I have to read everyone's responses and I choose the ones with best details or best advice, but it is very hard because they are all very good.

Don't know i'm still puzzling over this one some are getting really hard to decide and one or two i have just had to make the decision and be happy about it but theres still one i haven't given because theres so much good advice and support i'm struggling. I'm gonna come back and read what people say for pointers cos so far no one has it because i didn't feel one person deserved it more than others cos they were all so good.
