Well in a couple weeks anyway...I love to write but getting my thoughts down on paper by way of pen is frustrating for me for a few reasons..one being I cant write as fast as my mind goes LOL and two editting is a pain in my rump...I could (and use to) use my desk top computer but my thoughts and urges usually happen when I'm not at nor near my computer or at times when coming down here to turn it on etc is just not practical (for example in the middle of the night which is common for me) SOOOOO...yesterday I asked my husband if I could use his account to buy myself a laptop..of course he said yes so we built it and ordered it last night YAY!!! It should be here the week after next!!
So in order to make this a discussion, here are the questions
Which do you prefer for your writing? by hand, computer (laptop or PC), typewriter or maybe you have one of those nifty Neo's...
when do you find yourself writing the most? Do you have a specific time of day that you set aside or do you just write when the urge hits you?

I have written more since I bought my laptop than I have ever written by hand, on a typewriter, a word processor or a computer, and I have written on all of those.
I can type much faster on my laptop keyboard and it doesn't matter how fast my thoughts run, I can keep up with them!
I hope your laptop arrives soon and you will have a great time writing with it.

congrats hon,
well for me it depends on what kind of writing I am doing, If I am up against a deadline, I have a routine that I must follow everyday. If I am writing just for myself, I write when the mood hits me, I write when I am inspired, I write when I am sad.

I like to write my notes on paper, then elaborate or add more when I put it on my computer, sometimes it is easier to write on paper, but other times just to type it up, and change it later. Hey I'm so happy you about your laptop, I love mine. It gives me mobility.

hi raven'-my favourite time is in the evening though sometimes during the day I get a poem and just have to write it down there and then..thats what I do write and have done for a few years but never had any published...I prefer to write it by hand then type and print them from the computer..but as you know a poem ode anything you can write more often just comes when least expecting it so its all about being prepared well for me cos thats how it happens! bb littleowl

I do like writing some thing. It is difficult for me to write with pen because my hand writing is not so good so I had been earlier using the electronic typewriter which I still have lying useless because now I use computer to write. Earlier in my cases I have been writing the written statements of defense of my clients and now I have stopped that work. Now I am writing only at my lot. I want to write some write ups publishable at web sites. I also want to write reviews. I am practicing and I hope I will start writing for sites. Which sites are accepting and publishing the writings. If any body knows please tell me I will follow that. Please also tell me some tips how to write reviews and articles acceptable to the websites.
