Cardcaptors Sakura is the magical tale of a girl who finds and then loses the mysterious and legendary Clow cards, which are a set of cards with different powers inside of them. Sakura is an ordinary ten year old to start with, but when she finds these strange cards in her fathers' library/study, she becomes their master and has to find them and capture each one so that she can have new powers! This story is typically cute and very adventurous. There are a lot of pretty costumes and pretty cards, then chuck in a cute little toy like lion and its complete! The manga is amazingly drawn and the anime is just so cute! Read or watch it, as this series is positively superb!

It's one of my favorite CLAMP's work, maybe because of its ligh nature. I watched the whole anime, including the movies and had finished the manga. Right now, I'm reading Tsubasa reservoir chronicles, in which grown-up Sakura and Syaoran are the protagonists. It's darker in nature and the story is more complicated.
