i usually find that the best way to spend your time enjoying boring hours is to take the mickey out of someone..usually it's my kid brother or cousin sister ... i just recollect some funny incident that leaves my brother sulking at taking cover behind some curtains .. they retaliate with great vengeance by telling the tales told by my grandmother about my misdeeds when i was their age...

Hi Moneyman, we just had a power breakdown 2 days back. Fortunately it was only for 2 hours.
It was dark, and I didn't have any candles in the house. I was alone, as my hubby has left for his weekly games. The only thing I could do, was play some games on my mobile phone, and then chit-chat with a friend!
I don't like having no power - it was hot and there were mosquitoes! And like you said, no TV, computers,.....![](/Content/images/emotes/cry.gif)

Well thankfully that hasn't happened in a long time! I hate
being without power, but who doesn't! As I said, it's been
quite awhile now so let me think! I am usually to nervous
to do much. I am always worried about food spoiling in
the refrigerator and stuff like that. If it's still light
out and warm out I just go outside and hang out with the
neighbors. If it's at night and warm out I just stay out
to keep cool. Now if it's winter and stormy and that's the
reason for loss of power that's another story! Then I
would probably stay in bed and curl up with the kittys
or bake a cake, maybe read or just take a nap!

I prefer to go to the terrace for long walks and that is somethin I really love to do and wait for the electricity to come.Sometimes Iprefer taking my son also and would talk and sing with him so that both of us would have a good time and our bonding gets stronger.

If it is not late and the children are still up then I will play a game with them . We like to play a dice game . But if the children are gone to bed then most times I will read a book until the power comes back on or until I am tired enough to go to bed . I really need to get a phone for when the power goes out as mine are all cordless and don't work , that way I would be able to use my phone and talk to friends :)

Its fun to sit with the candles on and just talking about things that have been going on lately with everyone. Make some jokes and laugh. Unless your all by you self. If its rain and lighting I like to lay on my bed and watch it. Happy Mylotting!!!!

Hi friend!
When was staying in my hostel during college days.Whenever the power drops at night we will be howling and shouting. That was really crazy indeed. But at home whenever power goes on,I will be engaged in some discussion with my parents.Hearing to their old stories and all.Thank you for having this discussion.Happy mylotting
