Ok So how come when Moms get sick they dont get to take a break... I am sitting here and can barely talk, coughing, stuffy nose and all...but do you think i get a break from all the daily things a mom has to do?? Nope... I still have to watch a roudy 22 month old and try to get some housework done before i leave to drop off my son and grandmas and head into work until 6pm. Then it just starts all over again... I just wish i could take a break ... atleast when im sick and could use some sleep... thanks for listening

I totally understand where your coming from. I was just going through this myself recently. I had the stomach bug an a seriously bad cold plus the pink eye thanks to my pre school daughter. An not only did I still have to take care of my 2 sick kids, clean the house, cook dinner, wash an fold the laundry, an run a million other errands. I also had to listen to my husband sit an complain how tired an sick he was. When in fact there was nothing wrong with him what so ever. We mom's are seriously super hereo's because we never get a break. An I honestly don't see one happening anytime soon either. I hope things look up for you though.

Yes, I agree with you. Being a mom is a 24-hour job. You don't easily get breaks when you want to and even if you think you've done everything you need to do, something new will always come up. It's a very tiring process. And even if you love your husband and your children, it still doesn't give you enough strength to do everything you need to do for them. I'm so sorry that you're not feeling well. I do hope you get your much-needed rest.

I am sorry you are feeling so ill, I totally sypathise with you as I am a Mum of four. It is hard to be ill when you have so much to do and children to look after and a job as well, and now we do not seem to get a break!
I dread it if I start feeling a bit off colour, but I seem to be able to fight it off now pretty well I think because I know that I cannot just go to bed I tend to be determined not to get anything. I also load up on painkillers when I feel like I may be getting something and that usually does the trick!
I hope you start to feel better soon.
