The movie series that starred Kirk Cameron? Yes they are. Although there a many changes made in the movie script which, I guess, were due to screenplay limitations or something. I've seen the 2nd movie, Tribulation Force, and it's nice to be able to put faces to very familiar names. I think the choices made on who to play each character were done well. I enjoyed "knowing" how Rayford, Chloe, Buck and Hattie "looked" and how Nicolae would sound like. I only wish I can find DVDs of the other movies soon.

The movie is based on the books. I haven't seen it yet but plan to soon as I find a copy at a reasonable price.

Hi! Armageddon is the 11th of the Left Behind series. There are 12 books in all and I have read all of them. I've been collecting all the books since early this year. I like how Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins made the story easy to understand especially for new Christians who may be having difficulties deciphering the book of Revelation. I am grateful that they co-wrote the books. The storyline is a very honest and straight-forward depiction of what might happen during the end of the world and it is a very good reminder for Christians who are already aware of the prophecies. The descriptions made them more real. And the characters are surprisingly believable too! I also was able to buy the first 2 of the 3 prequels (The Rising, The Regime, still looking for The Rapture) and am also still looking for the final book Kingdom Come. For those looking for any of the first 12 books, there are lots being exchanged at www.bookmooch.com It's an international book-swapping site.

I haven't read it. I am not much of a reader. I never have the time and I have to have total peace and quiet when reading to make sure I comprehend it.

I've been reading the series for a while now. I pick up the books as I find them in thrift stores. I have most of them. I have to say it is an interesting subject matter. I do however find the writing a bit simplistic. I would call it a light read.

I agree on the simplicity but that is a good thing because it opens the door for more people to get an understanding of the actual meaning of Revelations, which for the whole chapter of the bible, it is very academic and can be quite confusing to ordinary folks, but with this book, a clear understanding is quite possible.
