Its only small and normally I would throw them out of my home but this little one has made a home on one of my bamboo plants. It was their last night ans is still there today, so I think he has adopted my plant as his home. He has spun a web around a few of the leaves and sits underneath one of the leaves.
I dont like spiders but this one isn't bothering me because I know it will stay their as its made a home and I'm normally on the computer or watching tv so am not near it.
What do you do when you find a spider in your house?? Do you leave it be or do you chase it out?? Swot it or scoop it in a glass with a piece of paper??

I don't like spiders much especially big ones. I usually let them be- unless they are in the bath then I grab a glass and paper and chuck it out the window. I have to be feelingbrave to do this. I did that just now as I am planning to have a bath...lol
I have had a spider set up home in my car and I can see it in the mirror (h is far away with a web on the back windscreen. I can tolerate that as it isn't huge, but I would prefer it if all spider kept a few metres away from me at all times. Can I get some kind of injunction out to prevent them from coming near me?

If you can spiderese (??) then yeah Im sure you can get an injunction out on them.
I can live with them if they stay in one place and dont move. It when I see one in the bedroom when Im just about to go to sleep, I have to get bf to attack it!!! I dont tend to get them in the bath!

Hi Cinderella, I usually just leave them unless they are really big and then I will scoop then up in a container and put outside. I have typed at an office desk with a tarantula sat next to me and a snake wrapped round me (not that I was ok with that one, I just froze) as my bosses mate used to bring them in. This one sounds quite cute, have you named it? LOL. Huggles. Ellie :D

Wow- your brave scooping them up or do you use a glass?
If the spiders/snakes where next to me in a cage, I could cope with that even though I would be freaked out. I would just find it hard concentrating on working as I would be watching them to make sure they haven't escaped!!
