Are you currently selling your home?

As I drive going place to place I noticed that I see a house for sale sign in every other yard. I've never seen so many homes for sale. 8 years ago while I was looking to buy a home I did not see many homes for sale. Do you notice a lot of this where you live?

We arent selling our home BUT yes in this area there are MANY homes for sale these days...Ppl just can't afford them with the economy the way it is and here in NY its CRAZY expensive...

Our home is up for sale, and there are many houses for sale in our area. It's a sign of the times now. I expect one day, things will come back to a bit more normality, but when that will be is anybody's guess.

yes there a few around here where i live and i have a real estate friend and he says the markets are slow right now. here in canada, we are not quite having the same issues are you are in the us.

Funnily enough I commented on this to my hubby the other day, I have noticed an awful lot of houses up for sale where we live in UK and there is supposed to be a slow down in house sales! So I do not know if they are trying to sell to clear some of their debt off and go for a cheaper smaller house or what.
