What will you do if you always lost your internet connection and you can't use it straight, slow connection to no browsing and the speed you need is not right....then they will force you to pay your bill...yesterday my isp provider ask me to pay my bills within 48 hours, as i've said, i can't use my internet connection straight in one day, it's on and off until now they can't fix the problem, then they force me to pay my bills within 48 hours and they will cut my connection if i didn't pay it, i tell them to fix my internet connection first then i will pay them but for now i will not 'cause the can't fix my connections problem....if they cut my connection i'll go to their business area and file a complain for this kind of service they have...how 'bout you?do you have a problem with your internet connection and force you to pay your bill without using any good/straight connections with them....although it has a rebate its not really good service, we need 100% of service isp provider...rebate is just 10% less in our bill..but one day for us or for me as a business of computer cafe/shop a half of percentage lost in my business can't earn with this kind of provider, if only can change with other isp i will, but they are only the one isp provider available in our area...My isp provider its "GLOBE BROADBAND here in Philippines",,do you have the same provider???i always call them 5 times a day and they always make a follow up report, always a report no technician go in our place...arggg....slow services....its been 3-4 months ago since i have my connection problem until now they can't fix it.... T__T...

i do not think you should pay for the fees as the serice u getting are not up to the mark. if u are constantly losing your connection, you should make a hoo-ha and get them to rectify for you. but first, make sure it is their screw-up and not because your computer is faulty as i used to experience lost in connection too. i do not know what happen but it happen on my old pc. after changing to my new pc, this problem stopped. so it may be good for you to check around, esp those in your neighbourhood if they experience the same problem. if not, then the fault is likely yours and it only rightful for you to pay up your bills. if not, insist on not paying till they solve the problem

hm... i have thirteen pc and there's no problem with my computers, as i know that the problem is in my connection 'cause i see the modem lights, blinking and sometimes no light, i always check my computer before i call them or try to reset modem and all the connectors...and the connection is really the problem cause the connection stopped when its raining and if the wind blow strong....

Hello, I empathize with your experience. I had the experience with GLOBE and I kept on complaining about that, and mind you since July, Globe did not do anything to fix it. I e-mailed them and called them up, until I realized they response is pretty slow and the service is such a crap. Then, I decided to write them and tell them that they do not deserve to be paid because their service is crappy, and that I do not deserve the kind of service they are giving me. Right now, I am using SMARTBRO. I have changed the ISP. SMARTBRO is much better.

I believe you can always report any problem with your ISP in their Customer Service and have them logged all your complains so that you will be given rebates on your bill. If you did not... they will really charge you with the whole amount. Now if you have been informing them and asking them to fix but they are not making any action, you owe them nothing. Don't pay them... they should rather be the one to pay you for the wasted time you had with their slow service.

I would insist they give me a credit on my bill to refund me some of the cost for the inconvenience. If they didnt do so, i would change providers, as that is uncalled for and very bad customer service. They arent holding up their end of the contract by providing the service you are paying for, so why should you hold up your end and pay for the bad service.

yeah i agree with you...actually sir they had a rebate in a bill but i'm not satisfied with it 'cause until now they can't fix my connections problem and rebate is just less in a bill but for me as a business woman i lost my costumers due to there services...and don't want to lost my players/costumers, one day no connection is a big lost in my business....i hope i can change with other isp, but too bad for me no other available isp provider here in my location.

I would make a call to the company and tell them what has happened and that it is not working and if they dont fix the service that i would not pay for something that i cant use when i need to. they are providing you a service and in order to get paid for a service it needs to be a good service something that works and you can trust to work when you need it to. they promise you when you sign that contract that they are going to provide you with a good solid service so call them out on it and tell them that you are upset that it is not working.
