do you think being poor takes a lot more creativity than being rich?

with being poor, you need to be creative on meals (how to stretch the food budget. clothing (how to mix and match what you have) and just life in general.
do you agree?

I must say that I haven't ever thought about this. I guess I could argue that having money provides opportunities to be alot more creative, since you don't have to worry about the money.
On the other hand, what you say about the poor is probably true. They just are in a position to force themselves to think of new, interesting, or unique ways of doing things. Just for the record, I grew up in a big family that had very little money, only my father worked and he did not have any education to speak of. I sure haven't ever seen myself as creative...
Interesting discussion.

yes I agree completely. You have to be creative when you are poor. If not you will not manage well. You have to come up with ways to save on everything you use. Rich people do not have to think much on everyday expenses and are far less imaginative when it comes to these things - in general. Maybe rich people use their creativity more on art and crafts? Poor people often do not have the extra energy and time for that after beeing so creative just to get by

That is the most obvious fact. Imagine having two pairs of trousers and you have to go out everyday no one will teach you how to wash and dry them to make sure that they are ready for use any time. you must be very creative to maintain poverty or else people will see you and run from you
