Well adobe is the producer of the most top notch editing software out there so it`s kinda hard to compete with them, they are the best.

I always admire Adobe products. I have used many products of them, but mostly in trial version. I have used Photoshop, Flash, Flex, Dreamweaver, Reader. I have tried those CS3 versions also. They are really amazing, but at the same time they are becoming resource hungry also. Though this may be unavoidable, but what Adobe can avoide is the sky touching prices according to our countries.

I don't really like using Adobe for reading PDF products. For photoshop ofcourse, it's a great tool, but it takes really long for him to load those..
But still, while I think of it. I would even prefer Paint Shop Pro for editing pictures and stuff, just because it's easier in use, and much more quality + performance, and more tools you can use!
for PDF reading I use FixyPDF, which is actually freeware, and you can only use for reading PDF. I never make a PDF, I just use .txt or Wordpad..or even Microsoft Office, PDF isn't just the thing for me!
