We received a wonderful surprise yesterday!

In order for you all to understand I shall go back and explain.... A Charity gave us $800 to send our special needs son to day care for the summer in order to prepare him for school and keep him in routine! We were thrilled with this and knew that at the end we would have to pay an additional $70 - $80. I have been awaiting the bill for this in the mail and actually wondering how we were going to pay it as his therapy is getting more and more difficult to pay for these days! Yesterday the Day Care called us to say that the charity had paid the FULL Amount!!!! This is a huge relief and a blessing....We still have the matter of paying the therapist but it is wonderful to know that at least the day care is taken care of! So,What was the last surprise you received? Do you have a similar story of how something came through just in time? ~Heavens~

Thanks so much cream97 Yes, this is enough money to pay for three hours of therapy for my son! It is so nice not to have to put that into the day care! Without God, we'd never make it with the high expenses my son incurs! ~Heavens~

That is so wonderful. I love when things happen just in time like that. I worry about things so much so when something like that happens to me it makes me so happy. Then it makes me want to do something nice for someone else. We are having to save as much money as we can right now. I quit my job for different reasons and the only one working right now is my husband. I'm going to be taking some flyers out cause a friend of mine and I are going to start cleaning houses. I hope that we hurry up and get some so we can have some extra money coming in. My friend only has three more weeks of unemployment money coming in and then she won't have any money (they let her go from her job). But I know that we will get some more money coming in and I know that God will let it be in right time.

I was concerned as to how we were going to pay this! Just the day before we received the call saying it was paid in full I had asked my husband if the bill was in yet and he had said no but I was expecting any time and we are already having problems with paying his therapist and so having to pay this Day Care was not something I wanted to do...Now, that money can go into three hours of therapy for my son! I saw your discussion in my in box but had not get to it yet.... I do hope that work comes in quickly for you and your friend! I wish I could figure out something to do so that I could leave my job and have more time with my son! ~Heavens~

Yes, I fully expected to have to pay the $80... So glad I did not have to pay it out for that. I was able to re-allocate the funds! ~Heavens~

That's amazing! I'm so happy for your family and your son! I'm sure it's a huge burden lifted to know that his daycare is taken care of and you've got one less bill to pay. I hope his year is excellent! I had a pretty nice surprise the other day, when I got the bill from one of my doctors and found that I don't have to pay several thousand dollars in testing because they were done in the office and my insurance company only makes me pay a co-pay for out-patient procedures that I'm admitted to a hospital for. I'd already started scraping and cutting important things out of my budget in preparation of the bill.

Yes, I can put that money into three hours of his private therapist instead now! I am sure he will have a good year at school as he is off to a great start...Actually, that is cause for another discussion altogether! That is great that you have a smaller medical bill to pay! Less than expected is always a plus! ~Heavens~

What a wonderful surprise! I love it when things like that happen to people who really need and really deserve such surprises. It's nice to know that there are services and charities such as that, available foor those who are really in need I hope that the opportunity helped your son.

I am glad that they are there for us also! I don't know what I would have done without some of these charities over the last couple of years since our son's diagnosis! It really was beneficial for my boy to spend the summer in Day Care three days a week as it kept him in contact with children and in routine to ready him for school! He is doing so well with all the help he has and is receiving! ~Heavens~
