Parking Close Or Far Away . ..Which Do You Prefer?

depends .. .if im goin to b a while .. i park far or if im goin to come quick I park near happy lottin and have a nice day

I like to park close to the store or entrance especialy in the winter I dont like parking far away from the entrance. when I leave the store I dont want to walk far to get to the car sometime Iam just plain lazy I guese

To me it depends on the situation. If I am in a hurry and need to run in and out, I want to park close. But otherwise I don't mind how far away I park because, as you say, the extra walking it good for us!

Whenever I go to a store of any kind I always park farther away from the store because there are less people who park there,and that way I can park where I can pull straight out instead of backing up,because I have never been good at backing up,and since I drive my dads truck I do not have to worry about hitting another car when I am leaving the store,besides if you park away from other cars you can find your car easier.

I like to park as close as i can because i am lazy, but then again i like to park next to cars that look as though their owners care for them, as then they are less likely to bang mine with their door when they get back in because this is the nicest car i've ever had and i really treasure it! hehe so it's a bit of a compromise for me! xxx

i do it very far i am a new driver and don't want to smash a car don't even have car insurance yet so definitely far

I like to park as close to the store as I can but I don't really care if I have to walk a ways to go shopping. I mean, it's just a bit more walking so what's really the big deal? A little more exercise never hurt anyone. The only time I hate walking long distances is if it's raining, snowing, cold or I'm just not in the mood to do a lot of walking that day.

Well, since hubby and I are both handicapped, we use the handicapped parking areas unless they're full then we'll use the closest available one. I don't mind the exercise but I do mind the sun because I have lupus and my skin will break out if I'm exposed too long as well as my joints will be in pain due to inflamation. I'd much rather be normal than to have to use the handicapped parking areas but life doesn't always give us what we want in life so we have to deal with what we get. Like the saying goes, if life gives you lemons, make lemonade! lol

Well, I will try, but if it takes to long, I will park the car in a spot, and get out and walk the rest of the way.. I know that I don't spend all my time looking and waiting for a park. I will just park the car where ever it is vacant at, and then walk..

hey hun i don't have a car but i would park away thats what my legs are for the people that fight each other for a spot 2 seconds closer make me laugh really a bit of excercise won't hurt.

I will park close maybe every once and a while, if I can't find a parking space close then I will park in the back. Most of the time I just park in the back though, because I like the excercise. My brother parks in the back all the time though, because not only for the excercise, but because he doesn't want to park near other people, because he is afraid that someone will hit his car, or someone will scratch or slam their car door on him.

I usually park where ever I can get out easy. I don't like to back up so I try to find a place where I can pull through. I don't mind walking so if it's farther away, that's no problem with me. I just like to be able to drive out easy. LOL

Need the exercise?? Hehehe. Well to tell you the truth , i also used to also do the same. I also used to park around the store and always used to give a huge gas trouble. First drive to that place though even when it was just like a few blocks away and stuff like that, and then on top of that even waste a nice amount of gas . Well then i really thought , ok from now i wont take the car and i started walking to that place.Though initially it was becasue i was trying to save some gas but then laste becasue of allthis walking and all. i even got some nice exercise and stuff like that. Though earlier i used to say , i am trying to save some gas ,. but even now i can say that i get some exercise too. hehe. Well anyways nice discussion buddy and happy mylotting buddy :)
