I went to the dentist recently, we have a private dentist and it cost £2,280!. I spoke to him about having an extra tooth i have removed. He said he could arrange for me to have it done, but, you'll like this, it would cost £1,500, I would have to wear a brace for 2 years and as the root was so far up into my gums,he would have to break my jaw! I was like "okaaaay, maybe not" no one has ever commented on it, it just bothers me that i can see it when i smile, most people i have asked have said they never noticed it! would you have had it done?

Are you like mad?? No ways. Beside the huge and hefity bill . Breaking the jaw. Wearning braces for like 2 years. Common , you can be much better off in life with that. Well this really depends on you. How much does that bother you? and sutff like that? And even if you have that super money to spend around for that? Do you really think you could wear braces for like 2 years. Ohh my god, that would now really be a very big and huge thing for me.I WOuld definelty not wear braces that also for two years. Well upto you. Do keep us posted about your condition. Take care and happy mylotitng :)

I'm not having it done! when he said the magic words "break" and Jaw" I kind of lost interest! I cant afford it now as i have paid so much in the first place. I was left some money by a distant relative £2000, I had such problems with my teeth, exposed nerves, crumbling, breaking absess etc. I had to have them done. He has removed the nerves from most of them now!

Ohh my god. That must be like a huge problem. Well i can understand you a lil bit becasue i have also had alot of problems and stuff like that with my teeths and it darn pains like alot. At times, the pain really kills the hell out of me and you cant have food and god knows how many mroe and more problems it gives. Well anyways if i was in your place, i would have never even thought of breaking my jaw and wearning braces for like the next two years.I have had my share of wearing braces. hehe. WEll anyways Do take care and happy mylotting buddy :)

No, there is no way i could have paid the £2,280 bill never mind the added £1,500! We went to the dentist last week...it cost us £16.20 each. Aside from that, I dont think I'd put myself through that treatment for something that people hadn't noticed.

no hun i wouldn't bother *shudders* if it was hurting and the end result stopped that but if it's just cosmetic i wouldn't bother.

They wanted to do that to me as my bottom teeth are a bit crooked. Hoever you can't see it unless I smile really wide. To be honest its not worth the hassle and the money if other people won't even notice it!
