You know, the first apartment I ever had only had a stand up shower. It was this cheap, thin plastic shower type box that I called my cleaning chamber. I didn't mind it at the time but if you're wanting to share it with someone else, it's deffinately not the most comfortable rectangle. I do have a bath tub now but I don't use it for the "bath tub" purposes. I'm a shower person. I'm not the type to enjoy basking in a pool of my own crud. It doesn't make me feel clean. I'm sure for relaxation purposes it's good but still, unless I have one of those hot tub size bathtubs, I don't believe i'd be interrested. Personally, it's a lot to maintain at times.

I do enjoy taking a bath but our tub is too small we would need a bigger one. If we had a bigger on I would definetly take a bath every so often.

I have a simple bath but I used to rent a place with a tub years ago but never used it because it was too small.
The incredible thing is that when my landlord decides that the water supply is going to be low, like when the mains are cut off, I have to bathe with a bucket even though we have a water tank attached to the apartment.
While he, as the landlord, bathes with the shower with the tank water turned on.
I should apply to Ripley's Believe It Or Not with that one.

Well to answer your question, yes I do have a bathtub, but here in the united states we always have bathtubs in our apartments. If we dont have bathtubs in a house that we buy than we have to buy it ourselves. How is it not having a bath tub? I would think its a little weird. So you are saying that you dont have a bathtub at all. How do you take a bath or shower? Im curious. I have never heard of it. Maybe I am misunderstanding what you are trying to ask. If I have misunderstood what you was saying than I do apologize.

WE do have a bathtub in the house, we also have a shower space in the basement for when dad comes home. He works in a metal melting place so he is covered in the metal dust. I love my bathtub, i just like to take some time and just soak in the water...

Since my shower has began to leak I have enjoyed having a bath every day. I moved to my house three years ago and almost straight away I got a new bathroom put in. I only had a three quarter length in my old cottage so it felt superb for me to get a full length bath. I got £100 off the bathroom suite of my choice thanks to my handy man. I have a nice shaped and deep bath in white with a matching hand basin and toilet. It is shame that my bathroom lacks a window. I will have to sort out my shower problem soon.

We are also renting an apartment here in Egypt it's not fully furnished but thankfully there is bath tub and we do enjoy using it! We only buy some basic furniture because we can't take it anyway when we leave the country. So this apartment is pretty empty.

I do own a bathtub and from time to time I really do enjoy taking a hot bath in the tub! But most of the time, when I need to go to work, or when I have an appointment, I hate the bath tub! Because usually will sit down in it and get drowsee, which means most of the time I wake up 2 hours later! That's why I had last year also a shower installed inside my bathroom, so I can make actualy a choice between the 2!
By the way, you may be renting the place but are you planning to stay there for at least a couple of years, or did you signed a 5/10 year contract? Because if, so, you can usually contact the owner, and ask him for a permittance for renotvating your bathroom in what you'd like! At least, this is how it always works in Holland..We did it as well! Same we did as well with the kitchen and living room back in Holland!

Yes, we do signed up for a contract of 5 years but the owner would not allow to have a renovation in their building for they always want it in the same space and design with in each of the room and second there is not enough space in the bathroom if we will put a bath tub and the third one they will not handle any expenses even the construction....

yes a bathroom and shower, and bath tub, this is a family unit they all have it here. I don;t take a bath though because I am afraid I would not be able to get out of the tub, I am disabled.

I do have both a bath tub and even a shower in my bathroom. However I do prefer taking a shower because it is quicker.

In my country, Malaysia, most of the houses don't have bath tub in the bathroom, as the bathroom is not really big enough for the bath tub. We always take shower, we call it shower room. Well, I do like to have a bath tub, perhaps I need to wait until I have enough money for a much bigger house, and make a bath tub in the bathroom.

We have one in my province. My mom really bought one for our house because she poured her stress just by soaking her tired body on it. It was our mini swimming pool when we were kids. I played with my rubber duck and fishes on it. But now since I'm living separately, I just have simple bathroom yet its very comfty and my bathroom needs are there already so I don't need to ask for more. Also there's no enough space on my bathroom if i buy one. ^^,
