I am going to have to say cow's milk as I haven't tasted any of the others I am going to list...
I know we can get cow's milk which is what most people drink,
Goats milk... anyone tasted??
Soya milk... again anyone tasted.
Are there any other types of milk we can drink or buy in the shops?

Hi,
We mostly use Toned Milk or sometimes Full-Cream Milk at our homes .

Now you have me confused. I just buy my litre of milk in the shop and I never check to see what type of milk it is. I think it is whole or pasturised milk. Sometimes I buy the low fat when I think it will help to keep me slim. I haven't tasted goat's milk but I have tasted Soya milk. It has a very bland taste. I don't mind using it on cereals but I don't like it in tea as it is very bland. I have tasted condensed milk & skimmed milk and I didn't care for these either. I have never tried homogonised milk or evaporated milk and I definitely don't like powdered milk. We got that at school when there was a milk strike and our teachers made us drink it whether we like it or not. It was awful!! I love flavoured milks...chocolate, strawberry, etc.

I had tasted goat milk. It smell somewhat 'disturbing' for some people and me. And soya milk, very tasty. I had also tasted camels milk. I can't describe what its taste like..weird maybe.

I have been drinking soya milk for the past three years. At first it was hard to get adapted to it but I have been accutomed to it now. Sometimes I drink cow's milk as well.

I had never even tried cow's milk until my first year of public school, as my folks were dairy farmers and raised only goats. At school they made us pay for a cartoon of cow's milk and it tasted awful to me, but that was because the teacher didn't keep in the a refrigerator and I've never liked room temperature milk, and especially not from cartons. My favorite milk is cream top sold in glass bottles from Strauss Family Dairy. They are wonderful.

I tend to stick to cows milk, although I have tried both soya and goats milk. Two of my children suffer from exzcema and these two milks were recommended to me to try with them. Goats milk is pretty sweet and soya milk is just disgusting. So I stick to cows milk, and as none of them did much for the exzcema I just stopped buying it the others.

Hi Anne18
CHOCOLATE MILK!!
Sorry I have got my mischievious head on tonight had better to bed soon before I get myself into trouble.
Have never tried any other milk than cow's milk. We drink full fat in our house because my kids are still quite young and I really don't want to be buying all different sorts of milk when I go to the supermarket.

As seems to be the case for the majority of people, I am a cow's milk girl. Full fat whenever possible! I can't stand skimmed (it's just white water!), and will tolerate semi-skimmed but there's nothing like a cool glass of creamy refreshing full fat (ha ha). I drank tons of it when I was young and still have at least a glass a day. I have great nails, which I've always put down to all the calcium I consumed while growing up!
I've tried soya milk, on the advice of my Mum who has taken up drinking it due to being at That Time Of Life (something to do with it having phyto-oestrogens in it), and it's okay. I can only tolerate it on cereals such as All Bran though, where the bran flavour kind of overpowers it so you don't notice it's not normal milk. I wouldn't want to drink it neat.
