Chamomile Tea...same properties cold as hot?

I enjoy the relaxing effect of chamomile tea on occasion. But I have been wondering if drinking it cold or over ice would provide the same benefits as drinking hot chamomile tea? Does anyone know? My husband doesn't drink hot tea, but lots of ice tea. I was going to try sneaking a bag or two of chamomile in his regular tea if it would help him relax...and possibly not notice a difference in taste. Ideas please!!

I drink this tea call sleepytime extra by celestial teas. It has chamomile, tilia estrella and valerian, to me is best when it is hot or warm but not that great when it is cold. I am sure it has the same benefits as when the tea is hot but to me the flavor changes a bit.(I do not use sugar btw)

Chamomile Tea relaxes me to the point that I can fall asleep. I would be careful giving it him if he does not know that you doing it.
I have always drank it hot! I like a nice hot drink to relax me before sleeping. Never had it cold or over ice. I bet it is good that way though..
I do not see how it would change the chemistry of the tea to be chilled or cold or over ice.
