I bought a pumpkin

I went out to get a pumpkin the other day, well ok we were driving past the farmers market and they had pumpkins out so we decided to stop. Well thier prices were VERY high and I only got a small squatty off white one. I will be looking at other places to get more. I want them to decorate with and also for props for some fall photos. I wish I could find a bale of hay and some cornstalks so I could really get some nice fall photos.
Are you going to buy a pumpkin? Already bought one?

I bought a little one for my daughter the other day. It ended up being about $2. They were 79 cents a pound. The big ones were close to $5, but I did not get one of those yet. I am going to let my son pick it out himself since it will be his to decorate or carve whichever he chooses.

Well that is atleast cheaper than the ones I was looking at for $25 for the big ones and 89 cents a pound for the small ones.

We will but it is much to soon. Unless you preserve them they will rot before Halloween even gets here.
I saw wal-mart has bundles of squashes and pumpkins for like $5. I think there were 6 different types.

Oh we won't buy our carving pumpkin till closer to halloween. I just needed some for photos.
