Would you tell them?

You notice the car in front of you has their left brakelight burned out. Would you get out and tell them if:
A. you both stopped at a stoplight and it was clear enough to walk up to their car and the window was open.
B. You both stopped at a stoplight and it was clear enough to walk up to their car but the window was closed?
C. You stopped at a stoplight but there was a lot of traffic.
Myself, I've pulled up alongside people (I was in the turn lane and they were going straight) and they've had the window down or partway and called over to them about their brakelight. How about you?

No, I wouldn't tell them, at least not while on the road. However, if I noticed it and we parked near each other I might just speak up.

Hi tinkerick!
I don't think I'll ever step out of my car to inform a stranger that the brake light of his car is burned out because its not safe to talk to strangers on a roads/highways.
But yes, I would definitely try to overtake him/her and see if their window is down so that I can inform them about their brake lights without stepping out of my car.

I have told people their brake light is out before also, but do not go out of my way to do it anymore. this world is so fast paced anymore and you never know who you are going to deal with daily.

I really don't think any of your scenarios is a good idea since getting out even at a stop light is not good or safe and can potentially slow traffic. In all three cases the light could change at any moment. Your last method is perhaps the one that might be possible under certain conditions but would have to done very cautiously.
