Well I'm the better spender between me and my husband. But I know plenty of woman who are horrible at spending their money wisely. So I would say neither. It really depends on the individual and their self-control or lack thereof.

Yes, it depends on each individual. But I do noticed that women to spend a lot,especially when it comes to buying clothes, bags, and shoes. Thanks for commenting.

Yeah, there seems to be so many things women need to accessorize, but I try to keep it down to a minimum because it can get outta hand real quick!

I think it's not so much of the gender but more of the characteristics and the habits of the person. I am someone who splurge on food and so on, to the extend that I don't know why I am so broke sometimes. LOL.

me too, i also spend a lot on food. But I do make sure that I'm going to eat it. I don't want food to go to waste.

Hi there Alice. I think that this is not a well formed question. There are men that spend a lot and there are women that spend a lot, but there are also men and women that are careful spenders that know when to say no to shopping, so this is rather a matter of will and not of gender.

You can't make a generalization on this one. It would have to depend on the person. I do believe that omen spend a ridiculous amount of money on clothes, shows, bags, and makeup in addition to spa and salon treatments. Men on the other hand can be such sport fanatics they spend a lot of money on season passes, memorabilia and the like. Some men also spend money on other women. Hey, keeping a mistress happy is very expensive!

This is a no right or wrong answer. It all depends on how you really control your money. A wise man or women could be smart enough to spend it wisely. I guess it depends on how you are being brought up, character and friends around you. If your friends around you doesnt really spend that much money, probably after a long time you will be influence by them.

in this case it has to be me.i am a thrify shopper and if i can save a buck or two i will.my partner on the other hand never checks prices.if he wants something he doesn't compare prices=he just buys-even with food i try to get more for my money but if i send my partner to the grocery store there is no such thing as prices-he just buys[lol]
