Anyone else disgusted with the myLot spammer?

it's really irritating me as well. i was at work a few hours ago and was on mylot there, and these disgusting messages were getting deleted almost as fast as the spammer was posting them! (he/she has been at it for hours now!) but now i am surprised to see that there are so many piling up. not sure why, but i am getting sick of seeing them as well. i am definitely not going to fuel the person's fire by responding or telling him to stop, though. hopefully if we all ignore him he will go away! it just stinks that we all have to suffer because someone is so immature.

Hi Greysfreak, I haven't seen you around in a while. I'm kind of disgusted by the crap he's spewing but I'm just doing my best to ignore him. I figure he got deleted and he started another account to come on here and let some steam off. He will eventually come to the conclusion that he's wasting his time if we all ignore him. Hugs, Tianna

The people that browse discussions and see these nasty things, they need to step up and report them. The more reports MyLot gets, the quicker they are probably going to ban someone. If people do it 100% of the time when they see it we could keep MyLot a whole lot cleaner.

i think i know whom you are referring to. i have sedn that today morning also. why these scraps join and make this place irrittaing for others?

I think just deleting the post or by just baning may not stop these sort of things. I prefer my lot should block that IP also so that he cannot open another account & do the same ting agin till he get banned.

Maybe they should implement an "interest" like: "I like" - "Spamming" (insert picture of spam canned good) Then anyone who adds this to their "interests" would get banned in a week haha. But on the more serious side, I think there is just too much good in myLot that makes spammers here microscopic. That's just based on my experience so far.

i,ve got too many spammer messages in my yahoo email from here,,i hate this too. Sweety you are not the only one out here with this plague problem...lets just -negative- them and report them to get rid of them.

any spammer in my discussions or starting their own I always report them if I come across one. If you mean a certain member that is swearing all ove the place, he is reported and I just saw his number went to zero from 15. I don't know if he is banned but I hope he would learn from his decrease of rating

I reported a couple of them also. This person must have nothing better to do with his time. It's pretty demented. He certainly isn't going to earn money and no one seems to be responding to him which is good. maybe he'll get bored and go away.

I saw a lot of nasty discussions started last night when I was checking something. I guess it is just something that amuses that person to do! I guess they know they might get a huge reaction and love to see what people will say about it. No it is not good to see, but it will probably be wiped off before long.

From the statements (they couldn't be called discussions) I was reading yesterday this person is a former member who has been banned and has used another ISP, e mail and user name to sign up again. Seems to have a beef with myLot. I reported all the discussions he/she started yesterday. I always report spam or unnecessarily vulgar posts. It is the responsibility of myLot members to help keep our community free of this junk because the myLot staff are few and can't possibly read every discussion posted.

I have not witnessed this as of yet. Is this on other areas of the site other than where it should be? I had problems with spamming in my personal emails from people giving me very dirty things. I had to report them numerous times before they stopped sending me filth.

I know how you feel. I believe I saw a message or two yesterday from this guy. I really wish people wouldn't be that immature and post the sort of things that I saw. Hopefully the guy gets deleted from MyLot.

You are not alone. I got hit by one yesterday. I also got a lot of nasty emails through my website for reporting the person and for "snitching". I don't care. I have an eighteen year old daughter who is a member here on mylot and I don't want her seeing that filth.

Report any spammers to the mylot administration. Hit the exclamation button and type your comment there. They will do the rest. Spammers are a real nuisance. There are lots of posts ever minute and it is impossible for the administration to control each post without our help

I first noticed this guy...or girl...bot, whatever it was...in the political interest...but then, going through the rest of them, I noticed that they weren't sticking to just one, but as many of the interests as they could find..and then they'd reply to topics and just spew curses and nonsensical...not usually well-spelled insults. You're right, there was ALOT of spam. I think it started yesterday? Blah. I hope EVERYONE has reported them. It looks like alot of the spam was deleted, so hopefully that means alot of people reported them.

yeah, that's annoying and difficult to understand why they start such discussions. it's good if whoever find such discussions immediately reported them. well, i myself will still let it go as long as the discussion is still 'a discussion', containing couples of sentences because what is offensive according to me maybe not offensive or even interesting for other people. but i really get irritated upon finding such nonsense discussion, which contain no word at all. you know, like discussions which have 'ilnknkcufng' as the subject and '538%#$#@*(!" as the description. i ever found a user start a series of such discussions. i think he just try to make easy money without knowing that he just waste time. i the beginning i ever respond it and tell them that his effort is worth nothing, but, as such discussions is getting more and more, i am getting bored and than just ignore them.

I must do my mylotting wearing blinkers you know,I never see anyone being ruse lol or offensive,and at the end of the day if someone chooses to act in that way then they wont last too long,im sure that the Mylot admin will see them off!its not the sort of site to come on and be rude,its a site to be able to relax and enjoy yourself.

One day when i open mylot and browsing the category to find a discussions to be replied, i was shocked when i read the postings, it's very disgusted and it annoys people here, I was feel irritated why they are doing it and until they are not yet deleted. I am thinking that they are doing it to make any rubbish here and create trouble here in mylot coz they are talking bad things and non-sense.Today i still see one of them. Maybe tomorrow they will get deleted when mylot found it and read all the reports. happy posting.
