Hello ladies! I didn't know where to file this under, but getting a pedicure has always been like putting on a very long lasting makeup, right? After postponing a trip to the salon for almost a month, I finally got a pedicure yesterday. It may sound a little over the top for some of you, but I'm so GLAD I finally got a pedicure yesterday. My toes now feel and look so much better. I don't know actually if anyone even looks at my feet, but I can see it! And they're ugly!
Any thoughts on getting a pedicure? Is it something you do on your own or do you go to the salon like me? How often do you do it?

Pedicures are the ultimate pampering myself luxury. I have one done at least once every six weeks. A bit more often in the warmer months and maybe every eight weeks in the winter. Since I began getting them the condition of my feet have improved greatly. I had callus's and bumps on some of my nails. Now my feet are smooth and I love they way they look.

Oh, I would love to get mine done every six weeks. I do mine at home because things are pretty tight. But I don't do them often enough.

I love a pedicure. Or a manicure. Unfortunately the only one I trust to do these things for me lives about 50 miles from me. I don't get to get these things done as often as I wish.

i think that pedicures are one of the best mood altering things. haha. theres just something about cutely painted nails that makes me smile.
sometimes i go to the salon, but lately ive been taking one night a week for myself and doing things like manis/pedis and facials. its super relaxing. i soak my feet in a pedicure tub thing i got for christmas a few years back. and then i exfoliate with them with a chocolate cinnamin vanilla scrub. slather them in too much lotion and put on socks and let it soak in. and watch a movie. and then remove the socks. and paint my toe nails. a base coat, two or three coats of color, and a top finishing coat. it lasts amazingly well until the next week. no chips!
