I totally agree that the mother is the first teacher in a child's life. She is the primary care giver, she teaches right from wrong, she forms the child the first five years of the child's life (hopefully the right way).
What the mother instills in the child stays with the child for a lifetime!

I do agree with your statement, Mother is a first teacher of our children. Coz at home mother is the number one who nurture and teach her children a good atttitude and behavior and she is a role model were the kids follows on what they see from her.happy posting.

I definitely would agree that mother is the best teacher to the children. It does not mean that the father doesn't play the role it just seems that a mother does a lot of the care taking in general.
I am a stay at home mother. I can see from my vantage point that kids really are impressionable people. I am teaching my son everyday about what life is all about.
Children are very intuitive creatures. My son is five years old and he seems to remember a lot of things that were said and done. You should never underestimate them. What we mothers teach them now will carry them through life.

yup, i personally think that mothers are the first teachers and that the family is the first community that a child belongs. mothers want what's best for their children that's why they try to teach them the values and principles that a person should have so that he/she may grow up to be a respectful and exemplary person.happy mylotting!
