There are people who could give out wonderful smiles. I mean with eyes also smiling as if you could see their merry heart as well. They could give out smiles bright enough to light up ones day. Do you know of anyone who have naturally smiling faces?
I've read this somewhere: "It takes more muscles when your frowning but less than 10 to wear a smile. It makes you younger when you're smiling. So smiling seems worthwhile." To that I agree... Indeed a person with smiles in her face looks younger and better than someone with sad face. Smiles have the power to give us instant facelift therefore. Apart from that it also has the power to project a friendly and approachable personality that could win for us many friends.
I think we should start giving out those powerful smiles each day. God has given has theis power but many people seldom us this.
Are you a smiley? Are you generous when it comes to your smiles or you often forget to smile because of heavy heart. Please share. Your comments will surely bring more smiles in my lips.

Hello maam. I am usually a smiley and tries to be smiley even with a heavy heart.
A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.
A friendly look, a kindly smile, one good act, and life's worthwhile.
Peace begins with a smile.
These are just some of the good quotes I like about a Smile.
Good evening.

Yes right! A smile will make you really attractive. Put one smiling person and a frowning person side by side. Who will you ever get attracted to? Of course to the smiling one and to the frowning one you will certainly ward off. Ha!ha!ha! Thanks for your thoughts dear!

I try to smile at people everywhere I go, sometimes I forget to because either I'm in my own world at the moment or thinking about something else, or I don't feel good that day. I've always heard that we need to smile at everyone we meet because they may be having a bad day, and your smile might make them feel better. I guess I'm naturally a smiley person, because I've heard a few times from people that say I'm always smiling, I'm a pretty happy person I guess...Have a good day

Yes, we don't know if our smile will help a person who has heavy heart to feel better. Imagine having helped someone with just a smile. So we really have nothing to lose if we give out so much of our smiles each day. So keep on smiling my dear!

Hi,salonga.Hope you still remember me.It is really a long time since I last load on mylot and respond your post.I am a little busy recently.
I have a friend who has the naturally smiling face as you said. Her smile always cheers me up when my sky is gray.I hope I can own the beautiful and natural smile like her,but my mouth is kind of small.I think the smile of the people who has bigger mouth will be more natural and beautiful than the small mouth one's.
But although my mouth is small I often show my smile to my friends,my families,my students even the people I meet in the street. And now I am smiling towards the screen,I hope you can feel it.

Hi rytnlxm! Of course I can never forget you my dear! Although I don't even know how to pronounce your name... I can't forget your meek and amiable Aviatar! Yes, I've been missing you and I understand you've been busy but certainly I'm glad to took time to drop by here in my discussion.
So you also have a friend with natural smiling face! But I don't agree with you that because you have a small mouth you could not give out a natural and beautiful smile. (Ha!ha!ha!) Actually, it is even more charming for those with small mouths. You have to put more smiles in your eyes actually because it is the eyes that really shows if the smile is natural. So keep smiling and use more of your eyes. Have a nice day dear!

I think a smile is worth so much and it is one of the few things left in life that is free and so easy to give away and it is so infectious, there are not many people who can not return one when they are given one...

Right my dear. They are for free and so easy to give away so I wonder why so many do not seem to realize this. Yes, smiling is infectious and if a person does not get infected then maybe he is infected with something else. Ha!ha!ha! Thank you dear for your beautiful thoughts!

Some of my friends say that their first impression on me is I'm a snob. I don't smile that often. But when I do smile, I'm sure you'll melt. LOL. It's really hard to smile when you have heavy heart but whenever I experience that, a single smile from my kids makes me smile too. They are the one who releases all my negative feelings. Keep smiling. HUGZ!

Hi salonga, you are right! It is better to smile then to
frown. It is healthier to smile and to laugh. I love to
smile! It makes my face light up and people say I have
a beautiful smile and I look pretty when I smile. I try
to put on a happy face as much as I can. It's not alway
possible because when I am upset It does show on my face
because I'm not good at hiding my feelings. When someone
smiles it does show in their eyes. There is nothing more
beautiful then a geniune smile and you can tell this by
looking into someones eyes. And the eyes are the window
to ones souls as they say!

Oh I believe those people when they say you look pretty when you smile. Smile does adds beauty to a face. So we really have to put smiles into it always if we want to look prettier.
The condition of our heart does reflect in our face, so I understand you why you can't hide your feelings when you are upset. It's hard to put up a front and to pretend and give a fake smile. A genuine smile is what the world needs. And it shows not just in the lips but in the eyes as well. You are right, the eyes are the windows to one's soul Thanks my dear!

its true that a smile can bring lot of smile in other faces also. We are not losing anything by smiling at some when when we see them also add a hi with that. That will help you to be popular with others. A smile can be a good medicine for a happy life.

Yes it is contagious. It has the power of infecting happiness to other people's faces. Smile begets smile I should say. But when you gets a frown instead of smile when you smile to anyone then maybe the person is problematic.
You are right, indeed a smile can be a medicine. A merry heart doeth like a medicine sayeth the Bible!

I always smile to people I know... And they smiles back! If I always smile even to people I dont know and who don't know me aswell, They might think I'm insane!!! LOL!!! wahahahaha... But seriously, I tend to smile a lot in a day, To stretch my facial muscle and brings back the kid in me. And I tend to laugh once in a while to furthur stretch my facial muscle and makes me feel good. It feels good that when you smile or laugh then there's somebody who is sad and you made that person smile even a bit... Wow!!! it feels like you're so good and feels so great!!!
Have a happy heart!!!

From your post alone... I could already sense that you are a happy fellow and that means it is not hard for you to give out smiles. Smile is contagious Anne... but you are right, smiling to people you don't know might lead them think you are insane. Ha!ha!ha! But sometimes even if you don't know the person when you are in same place and under some happy circumstance smiling to them will beget smile as well.
Thanks Anne. Keep on smiling!

You are so right, Its amazing how a child's smile can melt your heart. I think a child's smile is so heart warming because children are so genuine. I suffer from depression, but I am always trying to smile. I don't think I'm fooling anyone but that could be the depression talking again. Who knows maybe the song is right that says "if you smile when your heart is aching, smile though it maybe breaking, you'll see that life is still worth while if you just smile."

Yes, if you want the most sincere smile then get it from a child! It does can melt anyones heart. I can't even resist it.
Smiling can really cure depression. Yes it is not fooling yourself. It can be an emotional cure actually. That song you sang applies to people who have heartaches and if they follow the lyrics of the song they will surely feel the power of smile. Thanks dear for your nice thoughts!

I guess I am a real big smiley sometimes mama ,but not always..You can tell a smile is forced when eye muscles barely move and the area around the eyes tends to be less crinkled making the eyes appear squinting, dull, expressionless or popping out Ha!ha!ha! we need to feel our life is "happy" in order for us to be able to feel natural happiness and for our smile to constantly carry that "sparkle in the eyes" we value so much..

Ha!ha!ha!ha!ha! Good observation my daughter! You really are bright like your mama here. Ha!ha!ha! It's hard to keep the smiles on our face if we are dealing with problems in life but we gotta take things easy so that our face will not be wrinkled too soon. Keep on smiling my dear, and be always young looking like your mama! Ha!ha!ha!

unfortunately, I have no smiling face. Some people called me snobbish.. But they just don't know who am I personally. Sometimes, I am hesitant to smile to people I don't know but when they are my friends.. I give more than a smile when I saw them. I would wave my hand and even shout to them like hey!! (kumusta na?) how are you hahaha!!! But I am not that person who wears a smile all the time. Maybe that is also my nature. Oh!! much more if I have a heavy heart.. my goodness!! it's hard to smile in that case. I admire those people who can manage to smile even if they are in trouble. That is incredible!!!!

I do believe that the power of the smile can really become contagious. There are people who smiled at me and sincerely seem happy and want to say hi just to be nice. I would rather see a person with a smile all of the time instead of a frown.
I think that happy and smiley people can really be positive for everybody around them. It is having a good attitude that is the most important thing in getting motivated or encouraged in daily life.

I totally agree with all the things you said. For me smile can move mountains just like love. I am a smiling person not because there is something funny but because it is just in my personality. I tend to smile when I see someone I know. I smile to my husband everyday when he arrives home from work. I have got 3 rewards in pageants I've joined when I was in college for Best Smile or Ms. Close-Up award. I don't know if it is just incidental but judges from those pageants where not the same people and they never knew each other. I believe that a smile is so powerful and it can bring joy to other people depending on the purpose of course. If you smile to make a person's dull day bright then you are a good person. If you smile to bring hope to a person whose losing it the you are admirable. It is better to smile and laugh than to be sad because it makes you feel better and look younger.
