If you've read my recent discussion you've heard Im making a real effort to keep in touch with distant relatives and send greeting cards this year. I went around and did some surfing and after coming up with nothing for Halloween cards I moved on to Thanksgiving and Seasons Greetings cards.
Cardsdirect.com
Im speechless. The designs on this sight are just breathtaking (for a greeting card) and I cannot even come up with just ONE design I like, I want to stock up but 100 greeting cards could last me 10 years, lol. See, this company specializes in creating top notch greeting cards for Companies and you put your company logo, custom your own verse or phrase and include your name.
To me thats all the things I would want in a card, but do I want to spend 62$ for
50 cards. I think you buy them in quantities of 25, buy 50 and the price jumps up to 97$. They do have a value section where you buy many of the same images but you do not get the big quality cards and special foiled borders and such. One feature I am really impressed with is that they have "Embossed" cards where the image (say leaves for Autumn) look like their coming off the page.
I think I can definately see my next payout going to just this.

I would do some more shopping around if I were you, or maybe make your own. I think those are beautiful but I don't see myself buying those, especially since you say 100 would last you ten years! I can't recommend any sites for you, other then a site that I can't remember the name of. I'll give you a description of what it is : Sun Paper, I think is actually what it is. You can use it and basically put say your example of leaves. Press down and hold up to light, I can't remember if you have to put it in water or not, but it's a great idea and a more personal touch, I think it'd be fun myself!

lol, oh no, I would only buy 25 cards but it would still be tempting to buy a different back of 25 cards because so many appeal to me so then I have 50 and I would have so many left over that I would not use (how lame is that, using the same cards from a previous year ). Still, some are 62$ for 25, I would do it to splurge but not every year. Im gonna look around for this site because you just may be right about me liking the hands on project, originality gets major points.
