Have you ever watched the first and oldest Romeo and Juliet movie that was dated back in 1968 by chance? (It starred Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting as the two lead stars of the movie.) The two star-crossed lovers got married secretly with the help of a Franciscan friar. They were in love and got married in secret due to their feuding households.
What are your views about the secret marriages?

it's a great shame that the families wouldn't accept it.
if the only way that you can marry the one you love, if you want to be married, is by having a secret marriage, then that is what you should do.
nobody has the right to stop a legal marriage between two people in love, who are legally entitled to marry.

in the modern world like today, i don't think there exist the view like that days,we advocate the free love,our opinion are changing ,too.if the two are in love, the parents of the two won't object .if any ,maybe you can do something like the movie,secret marriage to get your love.
