I wonder where the saying "opposites attract" came from. In my own personal opinion, there is a higher chance for a couple to stick together in marriage and cherish their love for one another when they have common interests and outlook in life. There is more understanding and trust when this is the case. There is no insecurity at all. Man supports his wife and vise versa. Together they grow intellectually and emotionally. As a result, they are able to move forward and progress financially.

on the contrary. Quite to the disbelief of you, dear friend jeremae, there would be nothing thrilling if you both share the same tastes, and same interests and beleifs.
Ofcourse, it helps in the beginning to have a harmony in marraige. but, life becomes morose, and monotonous, if you both are the same side of the coin.
For me, it should be two sides of the coin. Both should have different tastes, and there should be a sync. and proper understanding.
Goodluck.
