Nearly went that way once. But I would not be able to go down or attemp that route again. The values and my concience would stop it and bring me back even if i did conciously attempt to go that way. What meaning does life have without a soul ?

No way!
I would ever like to 'sell my soul' for anything on this world. How can my soul be compared or sale able to the worldly materials! My soul is the only true thing that I have to myself and no one can ever disrupt or change it. My values, my integrity are not sale able.
Thanks.

Heck no! It's like that line from Braveheart...... They can take my life but they'll never take my freedom! We should be far more concerned with the consequences of the afterlife and the opinions others have of ourselves we leave behind once we are gone rather than the materialistic pursuits of this life. Our integrity is far more important than any amount of money or fame.

We can't tell, sometimes, we hold to a firm thought of saying NO into something, but there are circumstances beyond our control and that would test our ability to hold unto what we believe into something. Once a friend of mine, least expected among those who could comprise did something we are shocked, from there on, I have learn an important lesson in life, never say never, otherwise, someone might charge you being liar and all. I can bend to people who easily yielded on material things though, afterall, nobody's perfect.

No I wouldn't. At least so far I haven't. Had I sold I would have gained more success by this time.

No, I don't think so. I think I don't think so. I hope I think I don't think so. What's the offer again? LOL We might say no in theory and then when confronted with some tempting offer forget all our values. It's happened to many. I do hope I'm strong enough to never do so. I'm 1hopefulman!

Your raised an important point, most things are for sale and sometimes it is only the asking price that needs to be altered in order for the buyer to step in .

So true mechanicNOT62, we should never be overconfident. Always face things with some caution. We can never be too careful, as some say. Great Bible passage! Thanks!
