My parents and I get along like a house on fire. I know that they're always there for me, and I will always be there for them.
They help me in times of need, both emotionally and financially, and I know that they will do the same for me forever.
They treat me and my brother equally, which I know isn't easy for parents, so I admire them for that.

i get on well with my parents especially my dad. they are like our friends wherein we can tell them what we are up to in work and school. as adults, they allow us freely to do our own thing as long as we'll not harm our health and hurt other people.

I get along ok with my parents. We're not extremely close, and that's just fine. I love them dearly of course. I just went through a lot as a child as a result of them, and now that I'm going to be a mom, I think about it a lot. I used to drive and see them every single weekend, and then I had to cut back when I became pregnant. They have only visited me 3 or 4 times when I lived near them, I don't know what I was thinking. My parents are not old, they're very much able bodied. So, when they found out I was moving, I don't know why they were so shocked. they didn't even visit me when I was 15 min. away from them.

My Dad passed away over twenty years ago and my Mom is still alive. She is 87 years old and still in fairly good health. My Mom and I have never had a close relationship. She is my Mom and I love her dearly. She has been there for me emotionally but not fiancially which is fine. I have made it on my own.
