Potty Training Difficulties

I own a jack russel, rat terrier and whippet mix that is a year and a half old named richochet. I love her and her personality (even though it is really hard to get her to pay attention most of the time.) She is potty trained but every once and a while that training is somehow "forgotten." She knows not to go in the house and knows she will get in trouble if she does - but she does it anyway. Or her routine will get thrown off (my nieghbor threw a party late into the morning and woke her up while I was sleeping - and if she wakes up at night she will automatically have an accident.) This is making things very rough for me and her. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?
