how old were you when you first drove a car?

i've always imagined myself driving a car but i just can't get myself to start learning it. i am so afraid of going into the road along with the other cars. i would imagine myself shrieking everytime if i would be asked to drive into the highway. i'm just so scared of getting into an accident. i don't know when i'll get over my being scared but i really want to learn to drive.

I was in the 15-16 age range when I first started really driving. I got my permit at 16. I got my license at either 17 or 18. I was so anxious when I went to get my license that it wasn't funny. But I'm so glad I did and finally got it. I love driving. You should definitely at least try getting your permit/license. As much as you are nervous about it now, you'll be just as happy if not more when you finally bite the bullet, take the test, and get your license. Then you'll find yourself wondering why you didn't do it sooner and why you were nervous to begin with :)

maybe i just think so far ahead that's i don't have the courage to learn driving. when i think of driving i think of having an accident, which i wouldn't want to happen that's why i rather be in the back seat than driving the car. for me it's like a conquer your fear thing. have a nice day. =)

Hi, Ani. I'm in the same situation too. I can't drive and i'm thinking of taking the driving lessons. But i'm scared terribly. To make it worse, recognizing roads and signboards is a disater for me lol. I get easily get lost. Fortunately, we have gps guide nowadays. I've made up my mind to start learning how to drive. Let's just give it a try.

friend, you're not alone here pal. I wish to learn driving too but I am so afraid to take over the wheels..LOL! Honestly, I've tried practicing several times already but to my dismay, I still don't know how to drive..haaaayyyy... ;)

Me I think when I was fifteen years old and when our family was going for a long drive and that was the time I asked my dad if he would allow me to drive.He initally said no but then when I asked him again he said okay but then he was there with me when I was driving.I had fun.
