the queen wants a raise...

yup, you heard (or rather, read) right. the queen on England would like a raise as it is getting harder to pay her staff and support her family and she says that her living arrangements are crumbling (they no dont are as they are pretty old, right?)
but, does she deserve one with the world in such economic chaos right now and inhabitants of the british isles possibly suffering from poverty?

i really don't know what to say, the uk will decide if she needs a raise or not, most elected officials are paid a heck of a lot, so I don't know, I know she is not elected though.

Oh, that is so interesting! I hadn't heard the Queen wanted a raise. Does anyone know how much she currently makes? Where does the money come from? I am clueless about this but it is quite fascinating! I did tour Buckingham Palace the first year they opened it to the public as we happen to be on vacation in London that year. It was fabulous! It sure looked good to me. But of course, we all want to upgrade, don't we? Please, fill me in on all the details about her finances. I'd love to know.
