the first impression about person is a wrong og right?

some people trust their first impressiona about a person's character beacause they believe these judyment are gererally corect,
but i don't think it is not all right ,i had a friend with whom i was very impressed with when we first met ,ha wae very attractive smooth-talking gentlement,however,after three month or so,the person i thought i knew very well revealed himself to be the exact opposite of what i thought he was,he is actually very selfish and superficial,but it take a long time to work through his trick persons,and realize that my first ompression had been wrong ,
this experience also demonstrates that how an individuai presents himself is only half of the equation,
i do not want to undervalue the omportance of first impressions,
my friend ,what about you towards such situations?
have you ever happen this persons?

They said first impression last but for me it's not true. All first impressions I had with people I met was always wrong. So whenever I meet people I don't judge them until I knew them well. If I find the person so attractive or very appealing I would continue observe him/her until I proved that he or she really was. There are people also looks snobbish but when you approach them they're actually not. So my final conclusion is first impression is not reliable.

and your opinon just same as me,i agree with you totally ,in this society ,we shouldn't judge the person only by their appearance,but judge from every aspects,including moral quality ,temper,though the impression is also important but not the only way,,,,,,

It happened to me that my first impression for a certain person was wrong.Sometimes we can't judge the person right away in the first meeting.But sometimes i have an instinct to read facial expressions.There are some people also that good in hiding what they really are.

I definitely do not value my first impression of people, because I always get proved wrong! Or at least in few yet very important cases. So I always wait a while til I can determine what they are actually like.
