after the cooking

it always me who do the washing after my wife cook. i find cooking is a tough chore and it only rightful after a meal that i share the burden by cleaning up. i may not be a good cook but i am quite good at washing up the utensils. at least i think my action would not piss my wife and she would continue to cook for me. imagine if while she is busy cooking, i am playing games or watching tv and continue to do so after a meal. i am sure she would be unhappy and a quarrel or argument may start. so i take precaution by doing the washing..haha

I rarely cook in the house. Most of the time my mom does the cooking. If I’m the one in charge in cooking, definitely I’m not going to do the washing of the dishes. My older sister, rarely do the washing. She hates washing used plate and mom only cleans the dishes if she had time. We have an extended family. My mom’s sister lives with us. She is the one that mostly do the dishes. Sometimes I do help her when I see that there’s a lot of washing to do.

I guess that all depends on how long I want it to take before the kitchen is clean. I sometimes have my two oldest daughters clean up the after dinner mess, but usually they spend half the time fighting about which one is doing more work. They also miss a lot of spills etc that I have to clean up after they are done. Usually it is easier to just clean it up myself.

Well, it could be either me or my husband whom would do this job.. But, I mostly clean up the dishes at times..

My mum is the one who is doing the cooking and three of us are the one who is doing the washing. I think that it's fair enough for the person who did the cooking rest and we the rest do the washing and clean up.
