Ok so I grew up in church and was involved in church. What really pushed me away was the fact that the people in the church was practically forcing the high school grads to go to a christian college. Basically if you didnt go to a christian college then you are practically no good and you get looked down on. My question is why does it matter if you go to a christian college or a public college as long as you are getting a high education?

I believe as long as you keep faith and always know and have God by your side it shouldn't matter. Maybe you going to another college scares them that you will be led away from God b/c you wont be around all Christian people. Im sure they have there reasons for wanting you to go, but I don't think it should be a must on there list.

I don't think it matters at all, but I suppose the people who believe it's important have their own reasons. This doesn't of course mean that anybody else has to believe them, share their opinion, etc. I find it interesting that religious people judge the harshest and tend to be the meanest and look down on others who don't follow what they do.
