What's your opinion on the Saddam verdict?

Was he really supposed to be executed? Or is the death-penalty too "inhumane" as some say and he should get a life-sentance?

whatever saddam did to the people of his country was absolutely inhuman.he should have been executed much before.still it is better now than never.

so you believe that execution is a justified method of punishment? let me ask you this..
the man killed at least 148 people in his country. ending his life in a split second seems fair to you?
the man should be locked in solitary confinement for the rest of his life with no human contact in order to a) drive him absolutely insane and b) cause him to relive everything he put his people through.
