Where to put the flyers?

I quit my job this week because I wasn't happy about some things. It was really a lot of different reasons why I quit. One was they were changing the hours and wouldn't work with me when they knew that I couldn't be there that early because my son can't be at daycare until a certain time. Then I wouldn't have had time to get to work on time after dropping him off. But me and a friend of mine were talking this week and we decided to start cleaning some houses. I used to clean houses before I got married. So I made up some flyers that we are going to take around. I also am sending some to the people that I used to clean for because some of them said if you ever start cleaning again then let us know. I feel like this will give me more time with my son because I was really missing him while I was working. I can clean a few houses each week and still be able to bring in some income and be able to be here a lot more for my son. My friend and I are going to take the flyers out Monday morning. So my question is....would you only take them around to people's houses or would you take them around to businesses too? I was thinking we might could take some around to some office buildings and if they were interested then they could give us a call. Where all would you put the flyers if you were the one putting them out if you had a cleaning business?

I'd put them on bulletin boards to stores and stuff. If you live close to a college campus, consider putting them on campus as some college kids hate to clean their apartments and would probably be willing to pay a nice penny sometimes if someone would come in and clean up stuff for them. I'd be wary about putting things on car windshields as I don't know about the laws surrounding that sort of thing. You don't want angry people calling you or anything like that.

That's a great idea. I didn't even think of that. We have a college and a community college close to me so I may put some at both of them.

If i were you ill put the flyers on windshields of cars that park along sideways or or the parking area. This would give them time to read it when they ride their autos. Another best thing is you make door to door visit on household or residences nearby your area. This can build your relationship with your neighbors. Visiting office buildings wont work out because most of this offices usually hire janitorial and maintenance agency services that offers the same service as you offer.

My father in law told me I should put flyers on windshields too like at the mall or somewhere. I put some in some newspaper boxes in a few housing developments and I got a few calls.
