We are at the end of September and October brings us Halloween. Ghost and gobblins, trick or treating with your kids. Halloween parties. So how big are you into Halloween? Do you throw a party for your kids, are they still young enough to take trick or treating? So you dress up? Do you take them right around your neighborhood, or take them to the upper scale neighborhoods? Do you think Halloween is a good thing or do you dislike it and turn the light off and just ignore it.

I like Halloween. We don't do anything too big really. Before my little ones came along we just stayed home and gave out candy to trick a treaters and watched some scary movies on TV. This will be the first year my son will go trick or treating. He's almost 4 and we think he is old enough to dress up and go out for a bit, mostly just around the neighborhood. My husband is going to take him and I'm going to stay home with our baby and give out candy to the trick or treaters who come knocking. After the little ones head for bed I will probably pop on a scary movie to watch and pig out on what's left of the Halloween candy LOL. We always carve a pumpkin on Halloween day also.

This year, I will be going to a party at one of my friend's houses. It's fancy dress, and we're planning halloween food, halloween games and spooky music, it's going to be really good!
It's a big party aswell, he's invited all of his friends plus practically his whole street as well!

We do not celebrate Halloween and do not allow our boy to go to any parties associated with that or watch any cartoons associated either and no costumes.
We even keep him home from school if there is going to be a party that day or kids in costumes.
We do this because of our Christian beliefs.

Hi bdugas,
I have no kids and maybe we will only stroll in the mall during that time to see people and enjoy watching kids with their creative and wonderful costumes!
I guess it's a good thing and it's nice to wait those kids dropping in our house! LOL!

I love Halloween. I dress up and take my kids trick or treating in the neighborhood where I grew up. We go a little way in town, too, but mostly where I grew up because I know everybody there. I'd like to be home when the neighborhood kids trick or treat, but I have to take my kids!

no I don\t have any young kids, and the kids never go down this street anyway, so I just don't bother with it. I used to love to shell out though, and take my son around when he was young.

I enjoy Halloween. I like giving out candy to all the children and seeing them all dressed up in all the different Halloween customs.

I really like Halloween it's just that I haven't done anything for Halloween in a very, very long time. Sometimes the most that I do for Halloween is a bit of decorating and that's it. I wouldn't mind dressing up again and having fun like I did when I was a kid.

As a child my mother would shy away from the trick-or-treaters because she did not believe in celebrating the holiday. She would always take us out to eat that day or simply turn off the lights so we could watch a movie in the dark. As a college student now I also don't think much of Halloween; in fact, I will be taking my GRE (Graduate Record Exam) that afternoon. :D I will definitely let my future kids take part in it though! Little kids can be so cute dressed up in costumes!
