how did he propose?

Our story is quite comedy sort of treasure hunting sort of stuff. We moved from one mall to another to look for the ring that he will buy. And after a few stores (10 I guess), we found this yellow gold, diamond studded engagement ring. The jeweler ask us if she will wrap it for us or I will wear it. I answered wrapped it. When we got out of the store, both hungry of course. We went to Wendy's. Yes Wendy's Hamburger. We ordered fries, burger and baked potatoes. He asked me to wear the ring so that he can see if it looks good. Then after I wore the ring he suddenly popped the question. I answered him what? You don't have to ask me becasue I'm wearing it already. Then he repeated his question and didn't stop until I answered yes.

no, not really like the one we see on tv or some sorts. we were walking at the mall when he dragged me inside a jewelry store. i hesitated at first to choose so he asked the salesladies to bring out their engagement rings. he picked the one that i loved as well when i first saw it. then he proposed right there and then

the proposal was not what I expected. Its not the dreamy, movie-kinda thing proposal...but it was still a magical moment, i must say... you see, my boyfriend (my husband now) and I have been exclusively dating each other for 9 long years. I wanted to get married long time before that but he said he wasnt ready so I almost gave up to the idea of marriage.... one saturday way back September 2003, he asked me out. We went to the place were we first admitted we liked each other. I was totally clueless that he would propose that night. We were just talking casually and he said you know what, we really ought to move one...for a minute, I thought he was breaking up with me. But then there was the diamond ring. Then came the question " will you be my wife?" I did not say yes because I cant find the words to express how I feel. But eventually, I was back to earth and I said yes. We got married May of 2004 and we have been happy and in love after 13 long years. long story, huh. Happy Mylotting!
