Working with oil paints we needed a cleaner for class. Mineral spirits really to clean our paletes and brushes. I was in a rush to get supplies and couldn't get the mineral spirits rushed over night because it's flamable. Yes, it will catch flames and they won't let it be shipped over night. So I started looking for alternitives. I found Terpinoid. It's an all natural safe product that has a high citris scent but isn't flamable and is safe for the environment. I like it because it cleans my brushes better and it conditions them really well too. My question is do you prefer using mineral spirits to clean your brushes? If you've heard of Terpinoid, do you prefer it to mineral spirits? Or do you use both?

I've never used oils - well, not since doing paint by numbers back in the very old days! Then I had to use lighter fluid because I didn't know about mineral spirits. now I'm wanting to get back into painting, but I need space (the final frontier) and just don't have it!

Space is a definite need. Oils are pretty easy to use too. I find the paint by numbers take longer than normal oils to dry. That's just irksome in my opinion but if you wanted to get into regular oils it's really easy. I hope you do get into them again.
