i personally do not use an alarm clock coz subconciously, i do not want to rely on a alarm clocks for i would much prefer to use my body clock so wherever ill go, i can wake up whenever i want to. i just have to think about what time i should wake up then it happens, though soemtimes use my mobile phone's alarm clock as a back up if ever my body clock has no batteries (LOL)but when the process of setting the alarm time on my phone, i ALWAYS wake up 10 to 15 minutes before the set time :) pretty amazing huh? how about you?

I rely more on my body clock as it's always woken me up in plenty of time for what I needed to do that day. I don't really like alaarm clocks but will use them if I didn't get to sleep when I should have. When I was working for a few hotels, I would have to set the alarm as I never got enough sleep, they made us work a lot! Anyway, that's besides the point.

i always set my alarm clock. my body is used to waking up at same time everyday for work but there are days where i'm so tired that if i relied on my body i'd be very late to work. i actually always have my phone set in case my the power goes out and my regular alarm doesn't go off.

Me too, I would much rather wake up when my body feels it is time to get up. I'm very happy with my sleep schedule lately. However, I program my cell phone to wake me up by a certain time every day just in case!

I dont rely on alarm clock. I can still wake up at the right time even though i dont set the alarm. My hubby use the alarm clock though..he was having a hard time sleeping and he was use to it that he had an alarm clock to wake him up every morning.

Thanks to my sleeping habit, i dont like sleeping before 2 AM... atm its 3am and i am at home.

I find it very interesting that you are able to wake up from your body clock. I always have to rely on my Alarm clock, and despite that, I occassionally do not even hear the alarm clock ringing. But yeah, I could never wake up without an alarm clock, I would always be late for work.

I do not need an alarm clock to wake up. I am active enough to wake up at any time I think before sleeping. Only if I have had sufficient sleep, then I can wake up at any time without the need of an alarm clock. Still on Exam days or other such important days, I set alarms in two or three clocks as a backup, since who knows, I might not wake up and lose something. Cheers! AJ Rox.

I do use alarm clocks, but rarely actually works. I usually set the clock a bit too early, but if I really need to wake up at the time, then the clock works. I set my Radio and cell phone alarms on, which usually wakes me up, but I tend to go back to sleep . In important days, I'll make sure I wake up with extra alarms.

I have to say i am jealous. I have tried that before and it has never worked for me, I have to use an alarm clock. I would rather be able to wake up on my own, than having to listen to the BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! of my alarm.

practice makes it perfect :) focus on the duties and responsibilities that you have to do the next day and keep that in mind so your subconscious mind will know what to do and practice being alert even when you sleep. its all in the mind :)

I would be lost without my alarm clocks. I have two set each night to wake me up. Once in a great while, I will wake up before the clock goes off, but not very often.

Nope...thats what having a dog, kids and a wife are for. Between the three, you are certain never to sleep in past about 6:30 or 7. If I had my way, I would sleep in late everyday but as it is, I can't recall the last time I slept in...and we're talking at least months here...probably more like years. It is what it is I guess. I have an alarm clock. DOes that count?

I do use an alarm clock as a backup simply because I have had those mornings where I could easily shut off the alarm and keep on sleeping. Most mornings I wake up before my alarm even when I don't have to get up. Still, because of the times that I've slept beyond, I feel more comfortable with a back up.

I will like to use my body clock to wake but I can't. I will wake up late if I don't use alarm clock. I use alarm clock because I lazy to wake up. I like sleeping. I can sleep long hours without any problem. I sleep late at night, that way I can't wake up early morning.

I do rely on a clock on mornings when I have to get up for class, work, or something. It has happened that I woke up before my alarm went off, but most of the time, it is my alarm that wakes me up. However, I only really use during weekdays, and rarely weekends.

I do. In fact I use the mobile phone for that. Even with them I take about 30 minutes to get up. My latest plan is to keep two mobile phones with a time gap of 30 minutes and keep them away from my bed. Because of the sound I have to get down from the bed to switch off and by that time I can get up. Hope it will work.
