Is there a cover song that you think is better than the original?

Most of the cover songs that are playing on the radio stations nowadays just don't live up to the original. I've heard a lot of terrible versions of several popular songs from before.
However, I'd have to say that there are some cover songs that are so much better than the original. Here's one:
I don't know if people would agree with me but I find 311's version of "Love Song" better than The Cure. I find that 311's version has more feelings incorporated in the song and has such a lot more "oomph" to it than the original. Although the lyrics are the same, 311 was able to put their own flavor and beat into the song. It became more of a reggae love song, which to me, sounded better. This was featured on the soundtrack of 50 First Dates. What do you think?
Are there other cover songs which you think are better than the original?

I think one of the better cover songs out there is "California Girls" by David Lee Roth, originally by the Beach Boys.
I know there are plenty of really crappy cover songs that's for sure, but I think this version is more lively than the Beach Boys version. All of their songs pretty much sound the same for some reason.

Hi schulzie. Really? I don't think I heard that yet. I like the Beach Boys and I'll see if I can listen to David Lee Roth's version of California Girls.

Hmmm... I just listened to both songs and yes, i think Metallica did a pretty good cover job on this as well.
