There are a lot of them in the Philippines. They need help but I think they are, as what you have written, unseen. Their number is increasing and many of them pose threat to other people (theft, communicable disease, traffic accidents, murder, etc.). But they, themselves, are vulnerable to disease and other dangers too. I hope adequate help in health and education will be given to them. Children, as what the Philippine national hero Jose Rizal said, are the hope of the country's progress.

This is so true super jj. It is such a sad thing that I think about from time to time. There are abuse victims and the parents are found out and might have to pay the price for it. However what bothers me is the fact that a lot of the abuse goes without being uncovered. And it is also seems that sometimes it is too late in some instances when the child is unfortunately killed or what not.
