are there any US terrorist cells ?

i have been reading many news about terrorist cells and groups (Al-Qaeda etc) from middle east who specialised in causing hurt and damage to US and his allies. the 9-11 incidents, bombing in UK train station, indonesia bali island etc. many of these attacks are against western visitors and these attackers claimed they did it for their god (jihad. These attacks cause many sufferings to innocent victims while in the countries where these terrorist group are based, their people are cheering whenever an attack is successful. This is like a cat and mouse game which the attacker moved in the dark and choose to injured innocent harmless victims who cannot fight back or have no means to fight back. I am thinking if someday, someone formed a US terrorist groups with the same purpose against middle east countries and start to bomb and cause damage to these countries. wouldn't that even out the playing field? i mean if you can do it, i can do it too. these terrorist groups behead those captured, i can also do the same. i capture your citizens, behead them, show the process live as what they did. i wonder then how would those same people in these countries who were initially cheering on their terrorist groups feel if they themselves become victims too. you guys may say that this is a bad move as more violence mean more life lost and more suffering but i just cannot stand the actions of these groups who hurt innocent victims to justify their objective. i really hope that they will suffer the same fate someday and be punish for what they did
