I think whether he hangs or not should be up to the Iraqi people.. Can't believe he still has supporters in Iraq. Imagine hating someone enough that it doesn't matter what anyone (Saddam) does to them! Or maybe they don't know how many people he murdered.. and likely worse..

He is being hanged for killing 148 people in 1982 following a failed assassination attempt which targeted him.

I think it is great and should be done as quickly as possible. As for his supporters, the supporters were the ruling class under his rule and are now the minoirty ( they were then to but protected because of Saddam).
